A few months ago I wrote about a poker “mockumentary” called Hitting the Nuts, which premiered at the Cincinnati Film Festival and later went on to win Best in Festival. And yesterday the film picked up another award, winning Best Feature Film at the Derby City Film Festival in Kentucky. Kentucky, where the governor has been trying to seize online gaming domains for going on three years now. So it would seem that the good folks in the Bluegrass State aren’t quite as anti-poker as their paternalistic governor seems to be.
